| You will
find Sacred Heart Church in the quiet, and beautiful, community of
Johnstown. The Church sits on top of a hill overlooking the Bras d'Or Lake. Built in 1891, it is still a sight to be seen. It first opened it's doors, to its Christian community, on November 8,1891, and has served this community for over a century. Over the summer months tourists from all over the world stop to take pictures of the church and attend our services. Many are often overwhelmed by the breathtaking view provided from its perch on the hill. |
